In my previous posts about Mexico City, I mentioned we were visiting during Holy Week leading up to Easter. Throughout the week, we have seen many church processions, palm leaves, and other symbolic gestures.
Today is Good Friday. On this day, there is a famous procession and reenactment in Mexico known as Le Pasion De Cristo, which translates in English to The Passion of Christ. This procession happens in the town of Iztapalapa. We took an Uber to this town not really knowing what to expect. We couldn't find any information online about the schedule and exact location.

Then, it seemed like the procession was beginning.
After nothing happening, we decided to continue walking around the area.
This area, located behind the stages, seemed to be the holding area for the horses.
After this, we had had enough and decided to leave instead of wasting our last full day in Mexico waiting for something to happen.
Lunch at Tony Roma's = not good! Neither of us could barely eat our meal.

We headed back to Mexico City and stopped by Casa Churra. These were okay, not the best I have ever had, though.

Since we were in Mexico City, we decided we had to check out Lucha Libre, the big wrestling show in town, just to see what it was all about.

Lucha Libre was quite interesting to watch! We ended up leaving a little early just because it was getting late and we have a flight to catch tomorrow. I recommend going, though, if you are in the area and have time. It's neat to see!
