The Fort Chiswell Factory Merchants Outlet in Wytheville, Virginia

Saturday, December 27, 2014

As a kid, my family used to stop by The Fort Chiswell Factory Merchants Outlet in Wytheville, Virginia while passing through the area.  There were never really any BIG stores there.  I remember Bugle Boy, a book store, maybe a cooking store, etc.  It's known for its orange roof.  I've always been curious as to what happened to it and what kind of shape it is currently in.  We decided to go explore and see what the outlet looks like now.

As we pulled in, there were several trucks in the parking lot.  A few men were releasing birds.

  1. Sadly a part of the mall just burned down and 90% of the windows are smashed out
