Hank Williams, President Carter, & An Abandoned Blast from the Past

Monday, June 17, 2013

What do Hank Williams, President Jimmy Carter, and an abandoned blast from the past all have in common?  They are all people/things that were part of a recent weekend trip.  Let's recap!

Montgomery, Alabama

 Hank Williams Museum

I do not have any pictures from inside the museum but I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.  The museum contains some very interesting exhibits and pieces of memorabilia.  I highly recommend a visit if in the area.

After visiting the Hank Williams sites in Montgomery, I headed to Albany, Georgia.  This is one of the nearest towns to Americus/Plains, Georgia.  Plains is the home of President Carter.  On certain Sundays, President Carter teaches a Sunday School class and meets with visitors.  I will be going to this service this weekend.
