Today we head to Bucharest!
The inside of the rental car
Rupea Citadel on the horizon
Rupea Citadel was probably built in the 10th century. In the 1990's, the site was in complete ruins. After years of renovation, the Citadel was reopened to the public in 2013.
Cows on the side of the road
Passing through one of my favorite towns, Busteni
This mountain resort must get a lot of visitors over the weekend. As we passed through on a Friday afternoon, cops were out managing traffic, and traffic was backed up for miles.
We made a pitstop at the Ploiesti Shopping City, another beautiful, modern mall, for lunch.
A "quarter" machine
Cinema City, a very nice movie theater
Bucharest!
We stayed at the DoubleTree. They had macaroons for a welcoming gift!
A hair dryer!
Arcul de Triumf
AFI Palace Cotroceni (a mall) in Bucharest
Zorky's Planet, an indoor game area
A neat bookstore in the mall
This mall has such a neat active area. It has water bumper boats, a rope course, and an ice skating rink. Really cool!
Goodnight from Bucharest!
