This morning we decided to take an Uber to The Old Don Jail. The Old Don Jail is a former jail in Toronto. It was recently renovated as the administrative wing to the local hospital. They have preserved parts of the jail, though, as a museum.
Upon arriving, we picked up the last remaining brochure at the door. The tour is self-guided. We were the only people there touring the jail during the entire visit. The layout is a little hard to navigate at first.
Entrance
Old cells turned into administrative offices
Stairway to nowhere
In this room, a short presentation played about the history of the prison.

The preserved jail cells
The cells were so tiny.
Visiting The Old Don Jail was honestly quite awkward. We were the only tour people there, and to get around the prison, you have to walk around an area with administrative offices. The prison isn't within walking distance to Downtown Toronto and, honestly, there isn't much to see. In my opinion, I would skip visiting The Old Don Jail. There are much better prison tours out there.
