Good morning from Toronto, Canada! On today's agenda is visiting Toronto Zoo. The main reason for this visit is to see the Panda Bears. This will be their last year in Toronto. Then, we will head back to Downtown Toronto for lunch and to explore some stores.

Almost to the zoo!
Toronto Zoo Entrance
If visiting the Toronto Zoo, purchase your ticket online in advance. The lines to purchase a ticket were SO slow.
Near the zoo entrance were animal encounters. This was the first time I had seen this in a zoo, and I love the idea!
Entrance to the Giant Panda Experience
First, you go through a holding area that contains tons of information on Pandas. There really wasn't a line during our visit so we were able to pass through with ease.
You then connect to another building where the Pandas are located.
The Giant Pandas!
Only one Giant Panda was awake while we visited.
The daddy Panda was kept outside. They said the father doesn't stay with the family in the wild, so he is kept separate.

When leaving the zoo, you enter this Parking Pass to exit.

Then, we headed to a shopping mall to explore Zellers.

Zellers is basically a closeout store for Hudson Bay.

To be honest, Toronto Zoo was a letdown. My only real reason for visiting was to see Giant Panda Bears. That part of the trip was great. Nothing else set the zoo apart from others though. If I had it to do over again, I would skip the zoo.
