Arriving at the Rose Bowl

Interesting Finds
Rose Bowl Field
King of the Hill!
After leaving the Rose Bowl Flea Market, we headed to another Pasadena site - the house featured in the opening credits of Mama's Family!
Heading back to town to visit an antique store
Pasadena Antique Mall
One really cool thing about the Pasadena Antique Mall is that they have a large section in the back dedicated to movie and television set pieces. Even if you are not interested in purchasing any pieces, it is interesting to look at their collection.
Interesting places around town
Ready for some lunch, we headed to an Applebee's nearby.
Back on the road to our next stop
We spotted this interesting Sears tower and had to make a stop!
Then, we stopped this gem: an old Sears store. Check out that sign! This store is located on Olympic Blvd. in Los Angeles. This used to be one of their mail-order facilities with the retail store located on the ground floor. Now, the rest of the building is vacant with only the retail store still operating.
Inside the store
Back on the 101
We headed next to Downtown LA to visit an interesting bookstore, The Last Bookstore, we had read about. The bookstore used to be a bank.
Los Angeles Sights
Our last stop of today is Redondo Beach. The Comedy and Magic Club is our destination because Jay Leno is having a show there tonight. Jay appears here on most Sundays.
The Comedy and Magic Club
Ray Romano and Patricia Heaton's outfits from Everybody Loves Raymond
Our food was surprisingly delicious!
The beach at night
On our way back to the hotel, we saw a Ralph's grocery store that was closing soon. We decided to stop and check it out.
What a fun-filled day!
