We came to Joshua Tree for the scenery, of course, but the main reason was to see the Joshua Tree Inn. This motel has an interesting music connection. In 1973, Gram Parsons died in Room 8. Visitors today can still stay in this room, and there is a memorial outside of the room as well.

If you are in the area, definitely go to Joshua Tree National Park. Pictures do not do this place justice!
