Belfast Titanic Museum

Monday, October 10, 2016

We are getting up early today to head to Belfast, Ireland.  One of the main stops in Belfast will be the Belfast Titanic Museum.  Belfast is where the ship was built.

The big building ahead is the Titanic Museum.

Interesting quarter machines

Our ticket also included admission to visit the last remaining White Star ship, the SS Nomadic.  It is located just across the street from the Belfast Titanic Museum.  The SS Nomadic was a tender to RMS Titanic.  It has been restored in recent years and is now available to tour.

Overall, I was honestly a little disappointed with the Belfast Titanic Museum.  I was expecting more from a more official museum.  I had previously been to a Titanic experience museum and just can't say that this museum was much different.  I did enjoy getting to see the harbor where Titanic was built, but I could have done that without paying admission to the museum.
