Giants Causeway

Tuesday, October 11, 2016

After exploring Belfast's Titanic Museum, we started making our way to Giants Causeway.  Giants Causeway is known for its' interlocking basalt columns.  The columns formed due to volcanic eruptions in ancient times.  In the 1980s, Giants Causeway became a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Leaving Belfast

Our rental car came with an emergency pack incase the rental car got into an accident.  Included was a disposable camera.

Giants Causeway was a neat place to visit.  I'm fascinated by water landmarks, so this place intrigued me.  If you pass through the area, I would give this place a recommendation.
