Kosice, Slovakia

Tuesday, July 10, 2018

We spent today exploring Kosice, Slovakia.  I ABSOLUTELY love this beautiful town.  It has quite the charm.

Walking around town we noticed the Archeologicky Komplex.  It contains the town's original fortifications.  There isn't a whole lot to see, but it is neat to walk around and imagine what it was like back in the day.

Aupark, the area mall

The roof of the mall has a neat outdoor area with a playground for kids.

The view from the hotel

This was a neat little tourist shop.

Back on the town for the sunset

Supposedly the fountain lights up at night but it never did during our visit.

I love Kosice!  It is my favorite visit of this trip so far.  I highly recommend visiting this beautiful, charming town, much more so than Bratislava.
